Mc Manparris (aka Dj Sirrap) Jeff started out as a Dj in the early 80′s playing Hip Hop and Electro to feed his thriving thirst and love for music, but it wasn’t until 1988 when the first Acid tune came into his collection that his life was to be changed forever , the rest was pure history and so began his monumental journey through the rave scene.
In the early 90′s Jeff became the resident Dj/Mc for the massive Amnesia House brand, a well respected and fast growing rave organisation from Coventry City that hosted regular nights at The Eclipse (The UK’s first ever legally licensed all night dance venue) and Shelleys in Stoke as well as bigger one off events across the Midlands. Projected from a Dj to controlling the Mic in venues nationwide from illegal warehouses to 15,000 capacity arena’s alongside the cream of the UK’s Dj’s including Carl Cox, Slipmatt, Pilgrim, Stu Allan and Grooverider and Fabio. This was only the start to his epic journey through the ever progressing world of rave.Through the mid 90′s his popularity grew and a residency for Helter Skelter followed as well as regular bookings at the dance mecca Club Kinetic at the infamous Leisure Bowl in Longton. Also loved and respected by the crowds for his relaxed and vibrant attitude you could often find Jeff as at home dancing amongst the crowds as he was performing on stage.
We believe he was the first Mc on the uk rave scene and an integral part the scenes movement since day one through to this very moment. Jeff was booked for 3 events on Friday’s, the same on a Saturday and even most weeknights all over the UK, even becoming a regular act for Rezerection at the Royal Highland Showground in Scotland, never knowing where the next booking would take him. Overseas bookings through his career include destinations from Germany, Thailand, Portugal and Ibiza to name but a few. Current bookings include regular slots at Fantazia, Dreamscape and Illusion.
We are taking bookings for both Mc and Dj sets. Why not get the best of both worlds and have both..
Jeffs journey is far from over.
